A 12 week provision provides a differentiated and enhanced curriculum offer which is supplemented with vocational provisions. Pupils entering a 12 week placement within the PRU regardless of Key Stage will undergo new baseline assessments on entry creating a learner passport.

· Progress through Science
· Reading, spelling and comprehension assessments
· Dyslexia and Dyscalculia screening
· PASS assessments
· Mental Health and Welling assessments
· Boxall Profiling
During the 12 weeks the pupils follow the National Curriculum which had been differentiated and enhances with THRIVE approaches allowing for nurturing and supportive methods of education delivery.
Observations and progress are closely monitored with regular dialogue with the referring mainstream school.
Towards the end of the 12 week process new assessments are carried out on:
· Reading, spelling and comprehension assessments
· PASS assessments
· Mental Health and Welling assessments
· Boxall Profiling
The information from both assessment rounds and the proven strategies of support are then returned to the mainstream school and the pupil re-enters the outreach provision. If all goes well then within a four-week period, the pupil completes a final PASS and Boxall assessment before the re-integration process back to mainstream education is completed. .
